Economic Development
Welcome to the Financial Fortitude initiative, where we offer a comprehensive approach to financial well-being. Our program is built on ten essential components: Goal Setting, Financial Planning, Budgeting, Debt Management, Savings & Investments, Retirement Planning, Homeownership, Insurance, Estate Planning, and Entrepreneurship. By collaborating with leading economic corporations and respected financial institutions, we provide valuable insights and guidance to empower your financial journey. Educational Development
At the heart of our mission lies the commitment empower our youth through three signature programs: EMBODI, Delta GEMS, and the Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy. We dedicated to making a meaningful impact in our community by focusing on the unique needs of black youth. Our programs aim to inspire and them as they "Discover their Individual Brilliance," fostering independence and opportunity for brighter future. Together, we can create lasting change and nurture the next generation of leaders.

International Awareness & Involvement
Our committment to creating lasting change aroudn the world is every presnt. Our partnership with I CAN FLY International, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact in the lives of youth from marginalized and under-resourced communities. Our international initiatives focus on enhancing access to essential educational resources, fostering early learning and development. We empower teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to improve quality of life, while also establishing sustainable rescue and resource centers to support these communities. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.

Physical & Mental Health
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. stands as a powerful force for change, dedicated to enhancing the lives of African American women and the communities we serve. Our Delta initiative is a holistic approach to wellness, focusing both physical and mental health. Through the Red S.H.O.E. challenge, we inspire our members to embrace self-care by promoting Healthy Options and regular Exercise. Together, we pave the way for a healthier future, empowering one another to prioritize our well-being.

Political Awareness & Involvement
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, under the guidance of the National Social Action Commission, mobilizes its members, chapters, and leaders to champion the Sorority’s established positions and objectives. Founded in 1963, the National Social Action Commission serves as a vital resource informing members about pressing civil rights issues. Its origins can be traced back to the Vigilance Committee, which aimed to enhance and unify the Sorority’s social action initiatives. Through these dedicated efforts, Delta Sigma Theta has firmly positioned itself as a key player in the fight for equal political, educational, and economic rights for all Black individuals.
